- Decide to move your business, child and you within a month.
- Go to doctor because you almost pass out, be told to cut down on caffeine or die shortly (blood pressure 199/110)
- Develop strep throat while packing, keep working 60 hour weeks
- Get shit moved, then realize when you get there, you are still sick
- Have throat close off, therefore not able to swallow anything more than a slurpie for 4 days
- Injure a pelvic bone, therefore render you helpless on the floor, uninterested in food, yet unable to move to get it anyway
- Still work 16 hour days trying to build up your business and not loose clients
- Step on scale and realize you have unwittingly lost 12 pounds in the last 3 weeks

I’ve been interviewed
August 16, 20071) That’s a lovely blog template you have. Did you create it yourself?
Why thank you Alison. I did create it. And the profile pic? I did that to. You didn’t ask about that? Sorry, I though you might like to know
.
2) On your blog you recently mentioned a new job, apartment, social circle, etc. How’s that going?
OMG. Thanks for asking. When the dust settles from me having strep throat and getting more clients in one que than any person should, I’ll answer that. MY GOD. Moving across state with a child and you business with that? If you don’t have to? Don’t. Or do it and blog about it, because people like to laugh at you for walking around in your pajamas at 4 pm because you can’t find your clothes that packed away. Good times.
3) I also read that you have a 10-year-old son. Does he know his younger brother? (Forgive me if this is too personal, and don’t answer it if you don’t want to. It’s just that my dad is 70 as well. And I had no idea you had another son.)
I wish that that Joshua and Ethan were closer, but there some things that are out my control. Ethan loves Joshua. And would love to be a big brother. However….family proximity has made it hard. How clear is that? Damn family dynamics.
4) Are you always caffeinated and ready?
With forgiveness to the IM writer, but I think she will forgive me this once!!! (Hi My newest state mate!) This is what she told me last night as we parted Love you so much… oh… and ….. GET SOME REST you energy freak ! (so yes, unfortunately, I drink way too much Coke Zero, coffee and sleep very little)
5) Which celebrity do you have a crush on? It can someone you admired when you were a child, or someone you admire now.
Oh Alison, this is the best question of all. Yes. I didn’t even think twice. Johnny Depp. I loved him when I was young, when I not so young and now as I am aging…..he’s got it all…..and my favorite movie…Benny and June? God……I can’t resist him.
If you’d like to play, ask me to interview you in the comments. Oh, and here are the rules:
Interview rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with a post containing your the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Questions from me to you, feel free to ignore or answer at will
August 15, 2007I’m in a brooding type mood and I have more questions than answers. Tell me good people, how to do you handle the following situations? I have some of them in my life, not all, but they are all similar and all require a little more grace than I give toward situations. My handle on things? Grow some balls, I’m going out for a latte. I’m full of mercy, I tell ya.
How do you tell your friends you don’t have the same interests anymore? Friends that are in your social circle, but you more hang around them because they are there because no one has the guts to turn around and say, you bore me. Leave. I bore you, I’m leaving. Why do we do this to ourselves?
Co-workers that you only hang out with because of proximity. Why do that to yourself? I personally never get it started. But if does progress to that stage and then I find myself in that strange predicament of not knowing how to tell them, lets just keep this at the office ok? How do you do that without being mean? Because I am mean.
Just people in general. How do you deal with them?
I want to know.

70 and beyond
August 6, 2007My father turned 70 this year.
What my father taught me
work ethics- he still works 40-50 hours a week
how to cuss-like a blinking sailor
how to love-too much and to hard
how to leave and come back-sometimes in the same breath
My father and I have the same personality. We are just now becoming friends. He’s raising my 10 year old.
My only prayer to God right now is that he lives long for my son to reach adult hood.
I had plans on writing a longer post about my father, but suddenly the aching squeezing pain around my heart, dictates that I don’t. Forgive me.

I walked away today

then I walked back.

Things that have gone wrong while I’m trying to pack out of hell whole 2007
August 2, 2007- The light I use in the kitchen went out. Meaning I have to use the flueresent light. I’m over 30, that should never happen.
- The plumping as decided not to work.
- The baby hasn’t slept in his own bed in a week. I’m tired of that.
- Every light bulb has gone out. Nice
- My coffee pot broke. I broke up with my coffee pot. That was the saddest of them all.
